Gift of Life: Exploring Judaism’s Perspective on Organ Donation
In this seminar, we aim to foster a deeper understanding of the religious, moral, and practical dimensions surrounding organ donation within the context of Jewish tradition. In the first session, we will examine the religious and Halakhic issues relevant to living organ and tissue donations. Rabbi Jason Weiner will share elements and stories from his own experience as a kidney donor, as a community rabbi, and as a hospital chaplain.
