Book of Isaiah
We will examine the first half of the Book of Isaiah, the first of the great classical prophets with an eye to understanding the historical context in which he lived and preached, the literary structure of the book and the theological messages of the various individual prophecies. We will make use of traditional and modern scholarship on the book and the character of Isaiah himself.
